Scuba Schools International or SSI

Scuba Schools International or SSI is an organization for teaching underwater activities.
For more than 40 years SSI has been offering training, diving certifications and teaching resources for divers, instructors, dive centers and dive resorts, all over the world. All SSI courses are under quality control and with respect to teaching standards.
DAN courses

Developed by a team of doctors and training specialists. Some of the Provider courses are developed in particular for divers or lifeguards, while others, such as the BLS and First Aid, are aimed at a wider audience.

DAN Training believes that those seeking a first aid training do not attend a course just to obtain a certification, but to acquire the knowledge and safety necessary to adequately rescue an injured person. That's why every DAN specialized course covers a certain area of First Aid. The Oxygen Provider course, for example, teaches students how to provide first aid oxygen for diving accidents, while the AED course teaches the use of a semi-automatic defibrillator.

DAN courses are specialized First Aid courses, skills and techniques are only small parts of another course. Students acquire practical and theoretical knowledge that guarantees them, at the end of the course, the necessary security to act quickly and effectively in case of emergency.
The National Salvation Society

is a non-profit organization of social utility (ONLUS) active in maritime rescue and safety flashing.
The course for the qualification to the profession of "Lifeguard" is carried out by "highly qualified instructors in the marine arts for the Rescue" and by a doctor.
The course program is divided into theoretical and practical lessons.
There are several topics that, from time to time, are dealt with by the Instructors in specific training lessons (see the exam rules). In addition to the theoretical concepts (meteorology, ordinance of the Harbor Master's Office, treatment of water in the pool, etc.) the students are prepared with practical tests (swimming rescue, rowing, knots, first aid). At the end of the training period, the "aspiring Lifeguard Rescue" course participants will take the qualifying exam required by current legislation
